Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth Car Kit

$100.00 Released March, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Great for those with no built-in Bluetooth who now face hands-free only laws. A clean connection to your cars stereo system for clear music or voice. Doesn't require batteries - is charged by your car through the cigarette lighter plug.

The Cons:No ability to change the default pairing passcode (0000). Microphone can make you sound muffled, even if placed in a good location on your dash. Music streaming suffers a slight loss in quality compared to a direct connection.

The Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth Car Kit is an auxiliary car kit designed for listening to music or making hands-free calls in a car. It first plugs into a car’s lighter port, from which it receives energy.

It then plugs into the car stereo’s auxiliary input. After that, the device can be instantly paired with a Bluetooth-enabled phone for either making calls or streaming music. Additional features include a remote control, a USB port for charging your music phone, and an on/off power switch. The device is certainly useful, but it also unfortunately requires an unpleasant number of wired connections.
