Kensington Nightstand Charging Dock

The Kensington Nightstand Charging Dock is a specialized iPhone 4-compatible docking station that’s compatible with a special app called Nightstand that turns the phone into a bedside clock and weather center.

It holds the iPhone in either portrait or landscape mode. And when plugged to the Dock, the iPhone will avoid going into sleep mode so that the user has constant access to onscreen information. Featured is a USB plug that can connect to either a computer or an included black wall-charger. A major concern with the Nightstand is that it’ll force an iPhone to stay illuminated for an extended period of time—thereby more quickly using up its 3 to 5-year lifespan.
