nio Bluetooth security tag

The nio Bluetooth security tag is a loss/theft prevention device for Bluetooth-capable mobile phones and PDAs. The device allows users to set a security radius for multiple devices of up to 20 m. If the programmed security zone is breached (if the distance between the security tag and the device exceeds the set radius), an alarm sounds.

Different alarm tones can be set for each device, so the user knows which is missing in case of loss or theft. Flashing light and vibration alerts can also be triggered. The nio's battery lasts several weeks on one charge.
